Yet again, in an outstanding series of events, we witness that nothing is impossible if you have the valour and willingness to achieve what you want. This is evident from the Guinness World Record that was set by Wildkogel-Arena Neukirchen ski resort, an Austrian Ski Resort for hosting the longest chain of sleds. The earlier record was already a mountain and a half, an impressive 50 toboggans or 200 sleds stacked together as a chain.
It seemed as if the record was too hard to break, but the outstanding courage of 20 people from the railway and local tourist office had been planning to overpower this record for months. They were determined and focused, and so were our participants. And with an impressive chain of 506 sleds, our Austrian sled team did the impossible made possible!
Well, that’s not all. To make things even better, we saw that the 750 metres long single-file chain was led by Austrian luge double world champion (natural toboggan runs) Lea Geiger and the Mayor of Bramberg Hannes Enzinger who was also a part of this amazing World Record as it happened.
